What can change the final fare?
Metered trips can change with the route actually driven, low-speed or stopped time, requested stops and the specific taxi company. TaxiRates labels an estimate separately from an official fixed fare.

TaxiRates identifies the pickup market first, then applies the applicable current taxi meter or published operator-rate envelope to the live road route. The physical meter can still differ because of the operator used, actual route and qualifying waiting time.
