Directional rule
TaxiRates applies these fares from YDF to the named destinations because that direction is explicitly published. It does not automatically reverse the fare for a trip to the airport.
Longer regional travel
Deer Lake Regional Airport separately publishes transportation options such as the Corner Brook shuttle and private-car transfer. Those are not mixed into the municipal taxi schedule.
Named YDF fares versus longer regional transfers
Deer Lake’s municipal schedule publishes specific fixed fares from YDF to named local destinations. TaxiRates applies those amounts only where the destination matches the published schedule. It does not transform the table into a made-up per-kilometre formula for the rest of western Newfoundland.
Corner Brook is handled separately because the airport publishes its own shuttle and private-car options. Keeping those products distinct prevents a shuttle seat price from being mislabeled as a taxi meter fare.
