Airport handling
TaxiRates does not add an airport ground-transportation operator fee to the passenger fare unless an official source states that the passenger must pay it.
Outside Hamilton
If a YHM trip appears to leave Hamilton, TaxiRates holds the fare instead of extending the municipal meter into another jurisdiction without the applicable rule.
What is and is not added at YHM
Hamilton International Airport has an operator-facing ground-transportation fee, but TaxiRates does not pass that amount to the passenger unless an authoritative source says the rider must pay it. The customer estimate therefore uses the regulated Hamilton meter for supported city destinations without manufacturing an airport surcharge.
If a trip leaves Hamilton, a different municipality or negotiated long-distance price may apply. The calculator stops before extending the Hamilton tariff into another jurisdiction without evidence.
