Local fares depend on the municipal fare zone.

The City bylaw publishes six zones and additional cross-boundary rules. Until those boundary lines are converted into reliable coordinate geometry, TaxiRates shows a verified zone-required result rather than assigning the wrong local fare.

An additional $2 applies for each additional passenger over age 11 on City-regulated local trips. TaxiRates does not silently add passenger-count extras.

Airport

YYG follows a separate airport tariff.

Charlottetown Airport publishes its own airport fares. A new tariff takes effect November 1, 2026, and TaxiRates automatically selects the correct airport tariff from the chosen trip date.
