Current evidence

What is verified today

Thompson’s city fare schedule is useful context: $4.35 flag, $2.00/km and $0.17 per 10 seconds of metered waiting, with the City rule applying inside its verified scope.

YTH is outside the City fare boundary, so the city meter is not automatically extended to the airport.

Evidence gap

Why TaxiRates is holding the number

No published rule has been verified that extends the Thompson city tariff to YTH and no separate current YTH passenger fare is published.

Legacy estimates, route aggregators and unsourced numbers are not treated as current taxi tariffs. This keeps provider-set fares, official tariffs and airport-specific rules separate.

Before travel

How to get the current fare

Confirm the YTH airport fare with the selected taxi provider before travel.

When a current authoritative numeric fare becomes available, TaxiRates can replace this confirmation guide with a calculated or published fare. Until then, the result intentionally fails closed instead of presenting an unverified number.
