How the meter works
Time or distance, not both at the same time.
The Québec meter uses distance when the vehicle is above the tariff’s transition speed and time when it is below that speed. TaxiRates uses the mapped route and traffic-aware estimate rather than simply adding full travel time on top of the per-kilometre charge.
Airport connection
Saguenay–Bagotville Airport (YBG) uses the same provincial tariff.
The airport lists local taxi service for arriving and departing passengers, including Taxis Unis and accessible taxi options.
